Blue Dragonborn Vengeance Paladin
“Gideon will always lead evil to meet death by my STEEL!” Born of evil and lightning Clemento had an unnatural birth, as he hatched with a tail. Most thought him to be a wyrmling, but they cut his tail and denied him his prophecy of some day becoming a real dragon. He was mentally tortured and grew up having everyone around him betray or ignore him. One night, when everyone in his village was on their way to gather and worship Tiamat, he heard a voice call out to him. The voice said “Clemento, you must leave this place and find your way to the light”. That night he ran and left a note to his people “Tiamat is a lie and you will all perish in the light of Gideon!”. Clemento went off to search for Gideon and it was weeks before he found a clan of Metallic dragons. They welcomed him in after he explained what had happened. When the head Metallic Dragonborn Forza was told of the cutting of his tail, he looked shocked. “They will come for you, they will send you to Shadowfell, and they will try to make you a puppet of Tiamat. We will teach you what we can to help you defend yourself for when that day comes.” Clemento was gracious and began training under Forza. Clemento trained and studied under the strong Paladin Forza. Forza told him often “What you lack in intelligence boy, you make up for in combat prowess and strength. Those are key elements to being a great warrior.”. Clemento took that to heart and always looked for a more advanced way to defeat his opponents, rather than just a straight-forward approach. Clemento would make mention of Gideon and what Gideon told him the night he escaped his old clan. Forza would often dismiss Clemento’s false god or ignore his worship to Gideon. Clemento would continue his training until the age of 25, always asking if anyone else knew of Gideon or researching other gods like Gideon. Only weeks after Clemento turned 25, his new tribe was attacked by young chromatic dragons and drakes. Forza fought with all his might, but the clan of metallic dragons were terribly outnumbered as the sky fell dark with young dragons and drakes. Clemento found a way to escape. Before he escaped, he saw his fallen master with a note in his hand. He took the note and once again ran away from what he called home. He read the note and realized that his master had heard the call of Gideon. This filled Clemento with determination and faith. He praised Gideon and set off to find answers to a God that he was certain, had to exist. His first stop? A small tavern in the desert. . .
